Last updated: 4 June 2026. This policy explains how AscendHub Pte. Ltd. handles personal data in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

2. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to personal data collected through ascendhub.one, the AscendHub platform, hub membership programmes, events, campus residencies, and any related channels where we act as an organisation collecting, using, or disclosing personal data under the PDPA.
3. What personal data we collect
Depending on your relationship with us, we may collect:
- Identity and contact data: name, job title, organisation, work email, telephone number, business address;
- Account and membership data: hub tier, login credentials, role assignments, billing contact;
- Transaction data: programme selections, invoices and payments in SGD, contract references;
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, cookies, platform usage logs;
- Communications: enquiry forms, support tickets, meeting notes, survey responses;
- Marketing preferences: opt-in or opt-out records for hub newsletters and event invitations.
Where you provide personal data of third parties (e.g. colleagues), you represent that you have obtained their consent or have another valid basis to disclose such data to us.
4. Purposes of collection, use, and disclosure
We collect, use, and disclose personal data for purposes including:
- Providing hub platform access, advisory services, campus programmes, and ascent roadmaps;
- Onboarding members and spoke partners, including identity verification and contract administration;
- Processing enquiries, demos, trials, and membership applications;
- Billing, collections, and financial reporting in SGD;
- Platform security, fraud prevention, audit, and incident response;
- Improving our services, conducting analytics on aggregated or de-identified data where permitted;
- Complying with legal obligations under Singapore law, regulatory requests, and court orders;
- Sending service-related notices; and, where you have consented or we rely on deemed consent under the PDPA, sending marketing about hub events and programmes.
If we wish to use your personal data for a new purpose not reasonably related to the original purpose, we will notify you and obtain consent where required by the PDPA.
5. Consent and withdrawal
By submitting forms, creating an account, or entering a contract with us, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data for the purposes stated in this policy and in applicable agreements.
You may withdraw consent for marketing at any time by using unsubscribe links or emailing [email protected]. Withdrawal of consent for core service processing may affect our ability to provide platform or programme access. We will inform you of the consequences before processing your withdrawal request.
6. Disclosure to third parties
We may disclose personal data to:
- Spoke partners and subprocessors engaged to deliver platform, cloud, or advisory services, subject to contractual PDPA obligations;
- Professional advisers (legal, audit, insurance) bound by confidentiality;
- Government agencies where required by Singapore law;
- Successors in the event of merger, acquisition, or restructuring, with notice where practicable.
We do not sell personal data. Cross-border transfers, if any, will be conducted in compliance with the PDPA's transfer requirements, including ensuring comparable protection or obtaining your consent where applicable.
7. Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes collected, legal retention requirements, and dispute resolution. When data is no longer required, we will delete, anonymise, or securely destroy it in accordance with our retention schedule.
8. Protection and accuracy
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data, including access controls, encryption in transit where supported, and staff training on PDPA obligations.
You are responsible for providing accurate personal data and notifying us of changes. We rely on you to update account profiles promptly.
9. Access and correction rights
Under the PDPA, you may request access to your personal data in our possession or control and information about how it has been used or disclosed in the past year. You may also request correction of inaccurate data.
Submit requests to [email protected]. We may charge a reasonable fee for manifestly unfounded or excessive requests. We will respond within the timeframe prescribed by the PDPA, typically within thirty (30) days.
10. Do Not Call Registry
Where we send marketing messages to Singapore telephone numbers, we will check against the Do Not Call Registry unless an exception applies (e.g. you have provided clear and unambiguous consent in writing for that message type).
11. Cookies and analytics
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies for session management, preferences, and aggregated analytics. You may adjust browser settings to refuse cookies; some features may not function correctly without essential cookies.
12. Data breach notification
In the event of a data breach likely to result in significant harm or large-scale exposure, we will assess the incident and, where required, notify the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) and affected individuals in accordance with the PDPA and applicable guidelines.
13. Minors
Our services are directed at business users. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under eighteen (18) without parental or guardian consent.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on ascendhub.one with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acknowledgement where permitted by law.
